Summary

Prince Sports Inc. (“Prince” or the “Company”), a portfolio company of Nautic Partners, LLC (“Nautic”), has been recapitalized by Authentic Brands Group LLC (“ABG”), a portfolio company of Leonard Green & Partners, L.P ("LGP"). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Baird served as the financial advisor to Prince Sports Inc. on this transaction.

Founded in 1970 and based in Bordentown, NJ, Prince is one of the world’s premier on-court performance brands in the racquet sports industry. The Company offers tennis and racquetball products under the Prince brand, squash products under the Ektelon brand and platform/paddle tennis products under the Viking brand. Prince offers products in various categories, such as racquets, footwear, strings, tennis balls, grips, sport bags, stringing machines and accessories. The Company markets its products through dealers, retailers and distributors in the United States and internationally.
