Tim Byrne is Baird’s global Chief Information Officer (CIO). He is a member of the Executive Committee of the firm, and participates on Baird’s Board Committees for Information Technology, Finance and Talent & Human Capital.

Before becoming CIO, Tim was a member of the leadership team of the firm’s Private Wealth Management business, and previously he was a Senior Analyst in Baird Institutional Equity Research. Prior to joining Baird in 2002, Tim was a partner in the Strategy Group at Mercer Management Consulting, Inc. (now Oliver Wyman).

Tim is on the Board and past Board Chair of the Milwaukee Public Museum. He is also a member of the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Tim is a prior member of the Board & past Board Chair of Marquette University High School, and he served on the Board & is a past President of the Harvard Business School Club of Wisconsin. Tim and his family live in Shorewood, Wisconsin.

Tim has an AB magna cum laude with honors in Chemistry from the College of the Holy Cross and a MBA from Harvard Business School, and has earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
