Hyla Sold to Assurant
Summary
Hyla, Inc. (“Hyla”), a portfolio company of Kleiner Perkins, Silver Lake Kraftwerk, OpenAir Equity Partners, RRE Ventures, SJF Ventures and NGEN Partners, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Assurant, Inc. (“Assurant”) for approximately $325 million. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2020, subject to regulatory and other customary closing approvals.
Baird served as exclusive financial advisor to Hyla, Inc. on this transaction.
