W.W. Grainger, Inc. (“Grainger”) (NYSE: GWW) recently completed the sale of Techni-Tool, Inc. (“Techni-Tool”) to TestEquity, LLC (“TestEquity”), a portfolio company of LKCM Headwater Investments. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.Grainger, with 2016 sales of over $10 billion, is North America's leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products (MRO). Grainger also operates in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Grainger is headquartered in Lake Forest, Illinois.
Techni-Tool offers nearly 25,000 Electronic Production Supplies and related services to manufacturers in the electronics, telecommunications and medical services industries. Techni-Tool is a value-added partner to customers, providing technical advice, custom kitting, inventory management solutions and product compliance solutions. Techni-Tool is headquartered in Worcester, Pennsylvania.
