Competence Call Center Holding GmbH (“CCC” or the “Company”), a privately held company whose principal shareholder Ardian, formerly named Axa Private Equity, recently completed the sale of the majority stake to funds advised by Silverfleet Capital (“Silverfleet”). Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.CCC is a leading European contact centre providing customer care and technical support services. The Company’s delivery platform comprises eleven centres in seven European countries offering full service capabilities in 28 languages. CCC employs over 4,500 agents offering inbound and outbound contact centre solutions with a focus on E-Commerce including online retail, travel, consumer goods and financial services. In addition to inbound call services, the Company provides a set of written communication services (including e-mail, fax, post, online chat, web and social media) and back office services.
Founded in 1996 and led by Dominique Senequier, Ardian is an independent private investment company with assets of US$36 billion managed or advised in Europe, North America and Asia. The company, which is majority-owned by its employees, puts an emphasis on entrepreneurship and delivers investment performance to its global investors while fuelling growth in economies across the world. Silverfleet Capital is an independent European mid-market private equity investor operating out of offices in London, Munich, Paris and Chicago, and invests in established businesses with an enterprise value of between €75 million and €500 million in four sectors: business & financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and retail, leisure & consumer goods. Silverfleet Capital started making private equity investments in the mid 1980’s. Prior to a buy-out by its partners in 2007 the firm was a subsidiary of Prudential plc.
