PMC Group AB (“PMC”), a portfolio company of Segulah III LP (“Segulah”), recently completed the sale of Servi, comprising all of PMC’s Norwegian activities, to Ferd. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.Servi is a leading hydraulic solutions provider and systems integrator in the Norwegian offshore oil & gas market, designing, assembling, testing and qualifying complete hydraulic systems for original equipment manufacturers and end users. Founded in 1912, Servi has 360 employees and has locations across Norway and in Houston, Texas. Servi is headquartered in Ski, Norway.
PMC is a leading supplier of hydraulic industrial solutions in the Nordic region. Its customer offering extends from engineering to the manufacture and sale of components, cylinders and hydraulic systems. PMC’s operations also include electro mechanics and pneumatics. PMC has operations in eleven countries and is headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden.
Founded in 1994, Segulah is a private equity partnership focused on lower mid-market buyouts in the Nordic region, with a business model of active ownership through its extensive network of industrial advisors. Segulah manages SEK 8.4 billion of capital and is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ferd is a family owned Norwegian industrial and financial group, which exercises active and long-term ownership of strong companies with international potential, and conducts financial activities through investments in a broad range of asset classes. Ferd is owned by Johan H. Andresen Jr. and family and has been in the family's ownership since 1849.
