MILWAUKEE, January 7, 2025 – The Fixed Income Capital Markets group at Baird today announced that Chris Bolger has been named Institutional Fixed Income Trading Manager. The promotion follows the retirement of Bob Debastiani, longtime Institutional Fixed Income Trading Manager, who retired in December after more than 24 years at the employee-owned international services firm.

Bolger has 25 years of institutional fixed income trading experience, most recently serving as Baird’s Securitized Products Trading Manager. In addition to Baird, Bolger has held trading positions at RBS and Jefferies as an Asset-Backed Securities and Non-Agency Mortgage-Backed Securities Trader. Bolger is a member of both the Financial Risk Management Committee at Baird as well as the Fixed Income Capital Markets Committee, further emphasizing his leadership within the business.

We are thrilled to be able to leverage our immense depth of talent and promote from within. Bob Debastiani and Chris Bolger have been working closely over the past several years which will create a seamless transition. We are looking forward to continued leadership from Chris as we further enhance the capabilities of our platform.
