Health & Safety Sciences Partners with IES Safety
Baird Business Owner Solutions (“BOS”) group advised Louisville, KY-based Health & Safety Sciences, LLC (“HSS” or the “Company”) on its partnership with Industrial Emergency Services, LLC (“IES”) – Louisiana-based provider of industrial safety and emergency services. The acquisition diversifies IES’s industrial safety service offering while also expanding its geographic footprint into the Midwest region.
HSS provides comprehensive occupational safety and health services to industrial and municipal clients across the United States. The company operates through four service segments: Security Services, Emergency Response Team Services, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Crane Inspection Services, and Environmental Services. HSS is owned and led by Jonathan Pennington, CEO, and Aaron Jarrell, CFO.

With the establishment of its Industrial Safety Systems subsidiary in 2019 and its acquisition of Air Safety Systems in 2021, IES is rapidly becoming a leader in the technical safety and emergency response services industry.
