Baird Adds Matt Robbins to Kentucky Public Finance Group
LOUISVILLE, November 5, 2024 – Baird announced today that Matt Robbins has joined the firm’s Kentucky Public Finance group as Vice President. In this role, Robbins will serve in a consultative manner supporting Kentucky Public Schools, leveraging his nearly 30 years of experience in public education to identify school financing opportunities and solutions.
Robbins joins Baird from Daviess County Public Schools where he spent the past 29 years – most recently serving as District Superintendent, and formerly as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer. He has been heavily involved with various communities and professional organizations throughout Kentucky, and has obtained numerous recognitions and certifications from professional organizations, including having received the Kentucky Goldenrod Outstanding School Business Official of the Year award in 2013. Robbins earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and his master’s degree in Education Administration from the University of Louisville. He has also completed the University of Kentucky Gatton School Finance Institute, and was previously a Certified Public Accountant.
