Baird Adds Robert Sargent, Expands Private Wealth Management Presence in Virginia
Fairfax, VA (October 10, 2024) – Today, Baird, an employee-owned, international wealth management, asset management, investment banking/capital markets and private equity firm, announced it has added Robert M. Sargent as a Director and Financial Advisor to its wealth management office in Fairfax, VA. He is joined at the branch by Client Assistant, Kaitlyn Powell.
The Fairfax office, which recently opened in January 2024, is part of Baird’s continued private wealth management expansion in the state. The firm also has three other locations in Virginia in Lynchburg, Richmond and McLean. Baird’s continued growth in the state emphasizes their commitment to providing client with the best financial advice and service.

Sargent comes to Baird from Edelman Financial Engines where he managed $245 million in assets. Sargent has 15 years of industry experience and holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. He graduated from Amherst College with a degree in economics.
