Grants celebrate Purcell’s legacy and commitment to education

Paul Purcell "Kids Win!" Annual Baird Education GrantMILWAUKEE, May 7, 2024 Baird announced today that 18 nonprofits across the country were the recipients of the 2024 Paul Purcell “Kids Win!” Annual Baird Education Grants, totaling more than $1.6 million. The nonprofits are based in 11 cities, including Baltimore, Chicago, Charleston, Milwaukee and Seattle, among others. Funded by Baird, Baird Foundation and Baird associates, the international, employee-owned financial services firm established the Paul Purcell “Kids Win!” Annual Baird Education Grant to honor former Chairman & CEO Paul Purcell, who passed away in February 2020.

“It’s a privilege to continue Paul’s tremendous legacy by awarding these grants in his honor,” said Steve Booth, Baird Chairman & CEO. “These remarkable organizations have the power to change the trajectory of kids’ lives from early childhood through their pursuit of higher education.
