BUILD Honors Baird with Corporate Community Builder Award

Baird was recognized as BUILD Chicago’s 2023 Corporate Community BUILDer honoree. BUILD believes in building a better future for their clients and the communities around them. With the Paul Purcell “Kids Win” Annual Baird Education Grant, Baird is committed to expanding access to opportunities by opening doors and helping young individuals walk through. BUILD was one of nine 2022 “Kids Win” recipients, and the grant they received will expand their “BUILDing Futures” program. BUILD and Baird agree that when kids win, we all win.

Every spring, BUILD hosts an annual gala to celebrate the progress of helping Chicago’s threatened youth feel safe, empowered and loved. Baird’s recognition was announced at this year’s gala on May 5, 2023.

Terry Maxwell, Chief Financial Officer, Jill Fox, Director of Baird Foundation and Scott Skie, Chief Operating Officer of Baird Capital attended this year’s annual Gala. Terry and Jill accepted the award on behalf of the firm and shared remarks expressing their gratitude and appreciation for Baird’s partnership with BUILD over the years. Scott has been working with BUILD for 10 years and has served as a member of the BUILD Board of Directors since 2019.
