Baird Hosts 14th Annual 'Baird Gives Back' Event

Nearly 8,000 Hours Donated

MILWAUKEE – June 12, 2023 – Today, employee-owned Baird shared results from its annual Baird Gives Back Event. This year, associates donated over 7,700 volunteer hours over the week-long event to help support 223 non-profit organizations across the firm’s global footprint.

From May 15-20, more than 2,300 volunteers from over 100 Baird offices in cities such as Milwaukee, Louisville, Frankfurt, Seattle, Sarasota, London, Tysons Corner and many more participated in the firmwide event that launched 14 years ago. Associates helped with community-bettering projects, such as preparing and delivering food to those in need, cleaning up parks, riverbeds and gardens, creating safe housing for LGBTQ+ youth, packing diapers and menstrual products for mothers in need, and more.

Baird Gives Back plays a significant role in maintaining our firm's special culture. I am consistently inspired by our associates' deep and enthusiastic commitment to donating their time in our communities.

The event is organized each year by the Baird Gives Back Associate Resource Group (ARG), which is comprised of Baird associates who share a passion for volunteering. The ARG's mission is to broaden and deepen associates' involvement in volunteer opportunities, career networking and advancement activities in their local communities. This dedication is a tradition built through the efforts of Baird Foundation, the firm as a whole and the community involvement of Baird associates.

Every single element of Baird Gives Back contributes to making Baird a great place to work. Our associates are so busy, but they genuinely care about giving back to their communities; it’s extremely fulfilling that we are supported in handing them the resources, structure and tools to make it happen.
