Baird Receives 2023 Military Friendly Employer Designation
For the fourth consecutive year, Baird is honored to be designated a Military Friendly Employer. The designation highlights Baird's progress in helping veterans achieve their career goals through various hiring, retention and development programs. For 2023, Baird obtained Military Friendly®’s Silver Designation, which is awarded to companies that score within 20% of the 10th ranking Employer in their category. Only a select group of companies achieve this honor. The Military Friendly Company survey evaluates an organization's commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful opportunity for the military community.
Baird is proud to build on a tradition of supporting veterans in the workforce and in our communities, as reflected in our previous Military Friendly designations and two Veteran Resource Group Awards received from the Wisconsin Veteran’s Chamber of Commerce in 2018 and 2019. These recognitions reflect Baird’s gratitude for the service and sacrifice of military veterans, as well as our appreciation of the skills and character they bring to the workforce.
These traits are embodied in the efforts of PATRIOT, Baird’s Veteran Associate Resource Group. PATRIOT supports the military community through care packages to deployed military members and their families, a mentorship program specifically for newly hired veterans at Baird, a Veteran’s Career Forum developed to assist veterans with entering the civilian workforce and the facilitation of other opportunities for veterans at the firm to network and enhance their personal and professional growth.
