Baird Europe’s 5th Annual Student M&A Pitch Competition Once Again a Success

Baird European Investment Banking recently held its annual student event, the Baird M&A Pitch Competition. Hosted at Baird’s Frankfurt office, 16 students from nine different universities joined Baird for this one-day event.

Throughout the day, students developed an M&A sell-side pitch including equity story and valuation guided by an experienced Baird banker. Subsequently, the pitches were presented in front of a senior banker jury representing the shareholders of the target for sale. The day was concluded by the announcement of the winning team, followed by a networking dinner with the broader Baird Frankfurt team. While introducing the assignment, an in-depth overview of Baird’s European Investment Banking platform, the Baird Difference and internship opportunities was given.

Our Frankfurt team is proud to be hosting this event every year. Again, we had a great group of students participating, and all teams developed and presented compelling pitches. Because of events like this, Baird gets to meet bright students from all across Europe, and we look forward to staying in touch.
