Making an Impact: Susan Palombo
For several years, Houston Financial Advisor Susan Grant Palombo has been involved with Impact Austin, a women’s collective giving organization funding Central Texas nonprofits that provide services in Bastrop, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. Members of the organization pool individual charitable donations and decide collectively how to award multiple strategic, high-impact grants.
“I’m proud to be involved with this great organization,” Susan stated. “Not only is the organization’s direct support to non-profits impactful, but, as a volunteer-powered women philanthropy organization, we are also dedicated to engaging women in the community. These members inspire their family and friends to give and volunteer – the ripple effect of Impact Austin is profound.”
Since 2016, Susan has served in multiple roles on several committees. She currently serves as the Immediate Past Board President and a member of the Executive Committee. Susan generously contributes to the organization’s annual fund, endowment and many sponsoring events. This past June, Baird was the premier sponsor of the organization’s annual meeting, where the spring grant recipients were announced. Read more about the 2021 grant recipients here.
