Baird Adds Veteran Government Services Investment Banking Team
Jean Stack, John Song and Alex Sevilla Join the Firm
TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 24, 2018 – Baird, an employee-owned, international financial services firm, today announced that Jean Stack, John Song and Alex Sevilla have joined the firm’s Global Investment Banking team to lead Baird’s government services investment banking coverage. Stack and Song are Managing Directors and Co-Heads of Government Services Investment Banking, and Sevilla is a Director on the Government Services Investment Banking team. Their addition to the platform complements Baird’s deep, existing sector coverage in its Global Technology & Services group. All three bankers are based in Tysons Corner, VA.
Stack, Song and Sevilla join Baird from Houlihan Lokey where they focused on the government services sector, executing more than 35 transactions valued at $6.0 billion since 2014. Some of their recent deals include: sell-side advisor to Praxis Engineering in its sale to CSRA; sell-side advisor to InfoZen in its sale to ManTech; sell-side advisor to Blue Canopy in its sale to Jacobs Engineering; and sell-side advisor to Harris Corporation in its divestiture of its Government IT Services business (currently known as Peraton) to Veritas Capital.

Stack graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and studied at the London School of Economics. She is a Board Member and Executive Committee Member of the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC). Song holds a B.A. from Boston University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a Board Member of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce as well as ACG National Capital. Sevilla holds a B.S. in Management and Finance from the University of Miami. He is an active member of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the Maryland Technology Council.
