Professional Experience & Education

Spencer joined Baird in 2025 from Greenhill & Co. where he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Financial Sponsors Coverage. Prior to Greenhill, Spencer was a Partner and Managing Director at William Blair. Over his tenure at William Blair, he was a member of both the Technology and Financial Sponsors Group. He started his investment banking career at J.P. Morgan.

Spencer holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Middlebury College.
