Sandy Walter is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Baird’s Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Group. In addition to his leadership role, Sandy advises clients within the Consumer, Distribution and Real Estate sectors on all aspects of the capital raising process. He is responsible for the origination and execution of all equity-linked transactions including initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, direct listings and at-the-market (ATM) programs. Professional Experience & Education
Since joining Baird in 2004, Sandy has served in various roles across Baird’s Global Investment Banking platform. In addition to his long-time role in ECM, Sandy has also served in many different capacities and offices across Global Investment Banking with a broad range of strategic transaction experience in both equity as well as M&A. He has previously held positions within Baird’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group as well as Baird’s Global Technology & Services Investment Banking Group. Sandy is based out of Baird’s Milwaukee office and has also worked in Baird’s Chicago and Tysons Corner offices.
Sandy graduated from Bates College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a concentration in finance and investment banking.
