Professional Experience & Education
Prior to joining Baird in 2014, Rob served 21 years in the United States Army as an Armor Officer. His Army experiences include graduating Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger Schools; deploying to Iraq and earning the Bronze Star Medal; and serving as Associate Professor of Economics at West Point and as the Professor of Military Science at Marquette University. Rob retired from active service after leading thousands of soldiers and their families and being promoted to the rank of Colonel (O-6).
While at Baird, Rob has specialized in the Industrial Services sector, including above-the-shoulders engineering / consulting and below-the-shoulders repair, maintenance and cleaning, within the industrial manufacturing, power generation (nuclear, natural gas and the broader T&D grid), logistics supply chain and broader infrastructure end markets.
Rob received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and received a bachelor’s degree in mathematical economics with high honors from the United States Military Academy (West Point).
Outside the Office
Rob is an advisory Board Member for the Nicholas Center for Corporate Finance and Investment Banking in the Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
