Professional Experience & Education

Since joining Baird, Matt has advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, equity and debt offerings and other capital markets transactions for companies across the broader consumer landscape with a focus on enthusiast brands, sporting goods, footwear and apparel and consumer products. Matt has worked with numerous leading enthusiast brands, including, Fox Racing, GSM Outdoors, Rather Outdoors, Pure Fishing, 5.11, Fox Factory, CCM Hockey, Adidas, Vionic, Citizens of Humanity, Wolverine Worldwide and Classic Accessories. From 2014 to 2016, Matt was based in London as a member of Baird’s European Investment Banking team and executed cross-border M&A transactions across industry groups.

Matt received a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
