Kristy Obuchowski Wallen is a Managing Director in Baird’s Global Technology & Services Investment Banking Group where she focuses on Legal and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) within the Software practice. View our recent Software transactions.

Professional Experience & Education

Kristy joined Baird in 2004 and brings a wide range of experience advising premier tech-enabled services and software companies. She also provides execution leadership on M&A, equity offerings and other financial advisory services for publicly traded, financial sponsor-owned and family-owned companies.

Kristy received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in accountancy from DePaul University.

Outside the Office

In the community, Kristy serves on the Scenemakers Board of the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, an organization focused on fundraising initiatives to support new play development and audience engagement for the Goodman Theatre.
