Belvidere Township Park District
Baird served as placement agent on the District’s $1,183,000 General Obligation Park Bonds, Series 2023. This is the District’s annual issuance of limited tax bonds used to fund debt service on previously issued general obligation alternate revenue source bonds and fund capital projects. Debt service on the bonds is payable from its debt service extension base (dedicated tax levy).
As placement agent, Baird solicited bids from over 20 local, regional and national banks. The District received nine bids, three being local banks. There was over a 0.90% difference between highest and lowest bid.
