A frequent commentor for CNBC and Bloomberg, Ross educates clients by pairing timely commentary with historical data that cuts through the chaos of the day’s financial headlines. By using past events to inform today’s decisions, Ross focuses on “myth busting” to minimize investors’ emotional response and personal perspectives in volatile or bear markets. Ultimately, Ross aims to help clients from overthinking or overreacting to the market, knowing that successful investing often requires avoiding just a handful of big mistakes.

Nic Reisenbichler joined Baird in 2019 and has over 15 years of experience and extensive expertise in the features and benefits of various investment products. Nic oversees Baird’s Investment Products team, which is responsible for alternative investments, annuities, education planning, exchange-traded funds, mutual funds, structured products and unit investment trusts.

Jason Spitz has considerable expertise in the unique financial needs and concerns of small business owners. He started at Hilliard Lyons in 2017 and joined Baird in 2019. He works on business valuation assignments and assists with research, financial modeling and analytical support for M&A transactions.

Director of Advanced Planning

As Director of Advanced Planning for Baird, Tim is responsible for researching, writing and speaking on important tax issues that impact Baird’s clients. He frequently speaks to the media – including Morningstar and Bloomberg Finance – on topics related to retirement planning, executive compensation, business owners, legislative changes and overall best practices.

For more than 40 years, people have trusted John Taft’s perspective on the financial industry, a topic on which he’s written for major media outlets including Investment News and Barron’s. His diverse industry experience includes 10 years as the CEO of RBC Wealth Management and multiple terms on the board of directors of the Securities Industry Financial Markets Association, including one year as board chairman in 2011. In these roles as well as his writing, he has consistently emphasized the importance of earning and keeping clients’ trust.
