For the sixth time, Baird has been honored as one of the Best Workplaces for Women by Fortune® and Great Place to Work®.

Being honored as a top workplace for women underscores our unwavering dedication to creating an environment where all of our associates can thrive. What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it is based on input from women at Baird, just as the continuous improvements we’ve made to parental leave and healthcare benefits are a reflection of their input. Ultimately our associates’ contributions to making Baird a great place to work allow us to provide the best advice and service to our clients.

Steve Booth, Baird Chairman & CEO

To determine the Best Workplaces for Women, Great Place To Work analyzed the survey responses of nearly 600,000 women who work for Great Place To Work Certified™ companies that were eligible for the list. To be considered, a company must employ at least 50 women and have at least 20% of non-executive managers who are women and at least one executive who’s a woman. In the Great Place to Work survey, 96% of Baird’s female associates said the firm is a great place to work.

Baird’s Ascend Associate Resource Group works with leaders across Baird to support the firm’s goal of becoming the employer of choice for women. Ascend focuses on expanding leadership opportunities at Baird for women, promoting their voices and perspectives both inside and outside the firm, and recruiting, developing, and retaining the best women professionals in the industry.

The Best Workplaces for Women is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work and Fortune® based on employee feedback from Great Place to Work-Certified™ organizations. In 2024, Baird was also honored as a Best Workplace for Millennials, for Finance & Insurance employers and recognized among the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For®. Additionally, Baird was named to the 2024 PEOPLE® Companies That Care list.
